Becoming an engineer through an apprenticeship

I am choosing an apprenticeship. You like contacts with the business world. SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM allows you to obtain your engineering degree while putting your knowledge into practice in the field. With some wonderful professional integration perspectives into the bargain !

The apprenticeship engineering course - in partnership with the Sud Franche-Comté CFAI (Apprenticeship Training Centre) - is a work/study course with teaching in the school and in a company.

The advantages of apprenticeship

Choosing an apprenticeship means opting for training that meets the requirements of companies, that makes you a professional “in the field”, competent in production technology, production management, project management, product design and industrialisation, research and development, etc.

The apprentice-engineer benefits from a status that allows them to be paid in the company.

On completion of the course, the openings are guaranteed and the time spent looking for a job does not exceed one month, with an attractive salary.

Two specialisations are proposed

The number of places is limited in each case.

Acceptance conditions

The courses are open to students who have completed short higher scientific and technological training courses (Baccalaureate + 2 years): BTS, DUT, DEUG, Licence2,...

Acceptance is based on an examination of the student’s dossier followed by written tests and an interview with a jury.

Comprehensive training

SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM apprenticeship training benefits from the same advantages as the conventional initial training. The engineering students receive balanced training offering an in-depth scientific and technological culture. They also receive training in the areas of economics, human resources management and management. All this being based on inductive and interactive teaching.

Three years split between school and company

  • Support is provided by an apprenticeship supervisor in the company and by an academic tutor at the school.
  • A three-year course.
  • A genuine alternation with the company: 1,800 hrs’ teaching /3,000 hrs in the company.
